How to build a multi-destination itinerary that agents can sell

A good multi-destination itinerary follows a logical route, leaves buffer time for travel and bundles hotels, transfers and activities into one clear package. Clients buy a plan, not a pile of separate bookings.

Start with the route. Order the cities so the client is not travelling back and forth, and keep each leg realistic. Moving between cities takes more time than the journey itself, because of check-out, transfers, airport waiting and check-in. Aim for at least two nights per stop where possible, so the client is not always packing.

Add the connecting pieces before the highlights. Confirm how the client moves between cities, then book airport or city transfers at each end, and only then choose tours and activities that fit around the arrival and departure times.

Check visa requirements for every country on the route early, because they can decide which destinations are possible for the client's passport and how much time you have. Ask your supplier or visa desk about the specific destination and nationality rather than assuming.

Present the package as one clear document: day-by-day plan, hotel names, what is included, what is not included and the total price. A single clear offer is easier to say yes to than several separate quotes.
